The tallest and most famous mountain in the world, Mount Everest, measures in at 29,032 feet. It is a hugely difficult accomplishment to summit, though every year, between 500 and 900 people make it to the top.
Without lifting a finger, you can now watch that entire summit in this 4 minute video, where a consumer drone is expertly piloted to the summit of Mount Everest.
Using a DJI Mavic 3, @liulangCooki shows us the enormous scale of the mountain, and the absolute wild beauty of it as it slowly climbs to over 29,000 feet (8839 meters).
We’re amazed that a $2000 consumer drone is powerful enough to climb to such heights, and bring back such stunning footage.
Equipped with a 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad Camera, the Mavic was able to fly multiple miles from the drone operator, and take cinema-quality footage the entire flight.
