A whimsical wonderland for kids has sprung to life in the heart of a stadium foyer, transforming it into a vibrant early education hub. Located in Shenzhen, the project is aptly entitled POLES in Shenzhen.

This 16-meter-high (52 feet) atrium is a burst of color, featuring 436 playful, pencil-like poles that form five bright cylinders.

Inside these towers are three levels packed with a range of activities: a theater, a dance studio, a picture book library, a sandbox, a market, and even a multipurpose hall—25 unique activities in all.

Winding through it all is a gently spiraling ramp that climbs 10 meters, guiding little adventurers from one discovery to the next. The journey is as enchanting as the destination, with views of the dazzling atrium creating a fairy-tale vibe at every twist and turn.

And below, the basement pool adds a touch of magic, with colorful ceiling louvers that make swimming feel like moving under a kaleidoscope.

This is more than a play space—it’s a kaleidoscopic adventure where imagination runs wild, laughter echoes, and memories are made to last a lifetime.
