Remote control cars have been around for generations. Their whizzing sounds and action-oriented play make them a mainstay of the kid’s toy bin. The vast majority of them, however, are cheaply made, aggressively adorned, and just feel really cheap.
That’s why the Speedster RC Drift car from Bravomonster is such a refreshing version. With a super sleek, streamlined design, and a decidedly robust build, it feels like the elevated version of the RC cars we loved as a kid.
Echoes of Speed Racer?
Featuring a rear-wheel drive chassis with differential, advanced steering geometry, and precision driving, the experience of ‘driving’ the car is supposedly akin to that of a real race car. You might want to keep this from the kids, and play with it yourself.
Winner of a Red Dot design award, the Speedster is available for $129. Via Uncrate:
