Sandals are so ubiquitous in warm weather climates, they are a true footwear staple.
Chupps is a brand of sandals in India, and they offer a 100% biodegradable slide that completely breaks down in a landfill, once they’re retired.

The 100% biodegradable Sliders.
It’s a great eco-advancement, and addresses the ongoing plastic waste crisis that the world faces.
To match the eco-friendly nature of their sandals, the brand created a series of biodegradable billboards, made entirely of mud, hay, bamboo, cow dung, and clay.

The idea is clever, and the billboards were installed at the Bandra Bandstand in Mumbai, India.

The simple bamboo frames held the billboards aloft until they naturally decomposed, due to wind, rain, and natural degradation.
