The Mercedes 300 SL is a classic, iconic vehicle that was destined for greatness. The Tesla Model 3 was the first mainstream EV to sell hundreds of thousands of copies. In fact, it’s the best selling EV of all time.
What happens when you combine them? Something strange and confusing, indeed.
The folks at S-Klub LA took a stock Tesla Model 3, and placed a fiberglass copy of the Mercedes 300 SL body on top of it. They went further and put an outrageous interior, wild rims, and other bits to it. The result is something unusual and hard to explain, a veritable Frankenstein.
Apparently the team even re-installed all of the Tesla Autopilot cameras and sensors, a feat in of itself.
We do like the turquoise interior, and of course, the gulping doors.
Goes to show that mashups in the automobile industry can continue to surprise….
