Imagine if your houseplant was able to tell you the time, or the weather forecast outdoors. That’s sort of the idea behind the Moss Echo, a tabletop device that merges living plants with household technology.
With real, living moss living alongside specially designed LEDs, we’re given a display that’s able to showcase patterns, time, weather, and more. It’s a clever blending of technology with the living world, even helping to purify the air in your room while you use it.

We’re pretty sure this is the first alarm clock that you can mist with water, and keep alive.

Using proprietary ‘light pole technology’, the device’s LEDs provide light to the moss leaves, making them better at photosynthesizing.

The second product from Mosslab, the Moss Echo joins a simpler moss-powered air purifier that sits on a desktop.

Kind of like a nature-focused Alexa device, the Moss Echo has a number of smart, connected features that make it useful around the home, and also helping your technology blend into the background a bit.

The Moss Echo is currently funding on Kickstarter, and has raised well over their goal amount, ensuring that the device will reach homes soon.
