In coffeeshops and bakeries around the world, the Crookie is one of the hottest new trends, and it’s apparently pretty delicious.
The addition of sweet and salty notes from a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie are melded with the buttery flakiness of a croissant.
This viral trend may not have been born in France, but has come full circle, with a number of Paris cafes routinely selling out of the delicacy immediately.
Not to be confused with the Cronut, a croissant/donut, the Crookie may be short lived, but it’s fun while it lasts.
