Genesis is the luxury brand of the Hyundai and Kia group, and have been on a tear recently, bringing high-quality, well priced, and attractive vehicles to market.
The brand plans to be entirely electric by 2030, and is rapidly announcing new EVs.
The latest flagship concept is called the Neolun, and features a large, imposing silhouette, with a sleek body, and the brand’s dual-line LED signature.

Meaning New Moon, the Neolun is a full-size SUV that has a monolithic curving exterior design, and an expressive interior, decked out with a rich, purple-blue upholstery.
The design references a number of Korean design motifs, including radiant floor heating and an exterior that has similarities to Korean moon-shaped porcelain jar.

The dashboard has a minimal layout, with a large display that adjusts its height depending on driver needs. The dashboard also features a number of high-quality metal and glass switchgear.
The interior features coach doors that create an enormous opening, and showcase lounge-like seats that allow for rotation of the front passengers.

With a sound system that aims to achieve ‘concert hall’ levels of clarity and acoustics, it’s clear Genesis is aiming high with their feature aspirations.

Based on the platform that the Kia EV9 and Hyundai Seven EV will run on, the Neolun should feature similar if not better stats, like range and power.

We appreciate the unique steering wheel design and use of bespoke materials.

Meant to showcase the production-ready version, the Neolun should inspire the real version set to release in the next two years.
