You know all of those hovercars you’ve been promised?
Funnily enough, they’re in France, putzing around in a most mundane fashion.
French designer Sylvain Viau has a collection of digitally edited photos of older cars that have been ‘hoverized’.
Simply a whiz with Photoshop, Viau has created a series that swaps out the tires for a smooth, hovering undercarriage.
The result is oddly satisfying. We can get behind the idea of a clunky older car that still manages to smoothly hover above the asphalt. Via DesignBoom:
