Zaha Hadid Architects’ new Shenzhen Science & Technology Museum is a 125,000-square-meter swirl of innovation, where fluid forms meet futuristic function.
Nestled in Guangming Park, it blends science, education, and spectacle—Shenzhen’s bold new brain, wrapped in sculptural steel.

Spanning approximately 125,000 square meters, the museum houses a diverse array of spaces, including 35,000 square meters of exhibition halls, 6,000 square meters of immersive theaters, and 5,400 square meters dedicated to research laboratories and educational facilities.
Its U-shaped layout is centered around a grand atrium, creating an intuitive journey for visitors through interconnected galleries and public spaces.
The design seamlessly integrates with the adjacent Guangming Park, featuring outdoor terraces that extend the museum’s experience into the natural landscape.
