In Shanghai, LEGO and Nike have teamed up to create something extraordinary: a modular playground that looks like it leapt out of a child’s daydream.
Built on the geometry of a classic 2×3 LEGO brick, the colorful, interlocking structure turns a primary school courtyard into a living, breathing landscape of play.

Located at the Baoshan No. 2 Central Primary School, we hope this is the beginning of a new series of these amazing play spaces.

Each block can be rearranged and reimagined. One day forming climbing walls and sprint lanes, the next a maze of slides and hideouts.
It’s a playground that refuses to stay still, designed to evolve as the kiddos do.

We very much appreciate the fun and cheeky logo combo, which pairs the swoosh with the iconic brick.
While Nike’s Move to Zero sustainability mission anchors the project, while LEGO’s spirit of creativity shapes every corner.
Together, they’ve built a fun, vibrant canvas for movement, imagination, and possibility.
This is what happens when two icons of design and play think like kids again.
