It’s not often that undiscovered music from one of history’s most important figures gets unearthed. But that’s just what happened in Germany’s Leipzig Municipal Libraries, where a 12-minute piece of Mozart’s music was discovered.
The piece, known as Serenade in C, was written in the mid- to late-1760s, when Mozart was only 10-13 years of age.
Mozart died at just the age of 35, having written over 600 works in his short yet hugely impactful life.
