The Estonian forests near Tallinn have a new ear and mouth, in the form of large wooden megaphones, built by the Estonian Academy of the Arts. The idea is to have a place to relax, but also amplify the natural sounds of the forest.

Bird, critters, wind, and the occasional fall of a tree will all be magnified with these handsome wooden forms. They double as shelters, giving a wonderful framed view of the woods they look onto. Great creativity on display. Via MyModernMet:
