We appreciate the ingenuity of a multi-duty product, especially one that is wearable.

That’s the main innovation behind Swapz, a modular sandal/slipper that has a range of straps and materials for different use cases.

The work of California-based designer Ellie Kim, the footwear has a modular rail system that allows for different straps to swap out quickly and easily.

From classy white leather straps to functional rubber and many more, Swapz are less wasteful than traditional sandals, and would be available in EVA foam, recycled cork, or recycled rubber (car tire) soles.

The eco-friendly material are emphasized by the way the footwear reduces fast fashion and disposable shoes.
