COLLECT is Rainwater, Redeemed.

Collect by LAYER Design, in partnership with MDF Italia and Kvadrat, is a stroke of genius. Instead of a bulky or industrial system, it’s a beautifully rendered statement on self-sufficiency.

Collect is a portable rainwater harvesting system that actually looks good. Forget those ugly plastic barrels. This design transforms the simple act of catching rain into an aesthetic experience.

It’s a nomadic catchment tower, perfect for a modern, transient lifestyle, yet it anchors us to the most vital of resources: water.

The Working System
The genius starts with an expansive surface of Kvadrat Atrium fabric, the first touchpoint for the rain.
This textile gently guides droplets into the core, where layers of natural ceramic and carbon work their magic, filtering and purifying every drop until it’s ready to use.

As the water collects, an internal storage bladder gracefully fills and expands. Designed for real-world use, Collect is modular and disassembles with minimal fuss, making it easy to store or move when the dry season hits.

A Design Philosophy
Collect proves that sustainable living and great style are far from mutually exclusive. It’s a perfect blend of high-end craftsmanship and environmental responsibility, urging us to appreciate the simple, profound value of precious rainwater. It makes a celebrated centerpiece out of it.
