
The second half of 2018 saw some strong momentum toward a straw-free business culture, with a number of big brands moving towards eliminating single-use straws. That momentum should continue, however, and artist/photographer Benjamin Von Wong made it his goal to create a dramatic series of images that would draw further attention to this global problem.
Called Strawpocalypse, Von Wong’s impressive sculpture/installation was put together by a team of volunteers, and utilizes over 168,000 straws that were salvaged or donated, not purchased in his native Vietnam. Via MyModernMet:
