Vermont’s “Chew Crew” Is Making This Ski Resort a Little Greener
At Jay Peak Resort in Vermont, end of summer cleanup looks a bit different.
Instead of gas-powered mowers, the resort brought in a herd of goats and sheep to clear the slopes before ski season.
The so-called “Chew Crew” has been happily munching its way through 25 acres of brush and tall grass, turning a maintenance job into an eco-friendly spectacle.
The benefits go beyond charm. Goats are natural landscapers, tackling invasive plants and tough terrain that machines struggle with.
They fertilize as they graze, leave the soil healthy, and run entirely on renewable energy. The weeds, wildflowers, and sunshine from the hillsides.
Drew Struzan’s Larger Than Life Legacy in the Movies
It’s hard to picture the last 50 years of movies without thinking of Drew Struzan. The legendary illustrator behind Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, and Blade Runner has passed away at 78.
With him goes a little bit of that old-school movie magic that made the world feel bigger, brighter, and full of promise.
You could look at one of his posters and instantly feel the excitement of the story before it even began.
Beautifully Colorful and Energetic Designs from Bernardo Henning
We came across the dynamic work of Argentinian designer and creative director Bernardo Henning, and were immediately drawn in. It’s fluid, explosive, and most of all, fun.

Bernardo Henning in his element.
Bernardo Henning captures energy in motion. His work is a collision of colour and form, injecting dynamism into static images.
The inspiration is drawn from the real world, including photography, authentic stories, the fluid shapes found in nature. But also from the unexpected, like the pure, simple gestures found in his young daughter’s drawings as she mimics his work.
Butt Why?! Cigarette Butt Hat Challenges Our Vision of Waste
Here’s a design twist that flips our assumptions in the weirdest way.
Olivia Gino, a graduate of Central Saint Martins, has taken the most littered item in our cities, cigarette butts, and turned them into a shearling-style hat through her project called “Cigarettes Have Never Been So Cool.” (Yes, the irony is intentional.)
Check out this amazing synchronized wave that these giant Himalayan honey bees make to protect their nest.
Star Wars on the Streets of Paris
In his series STAR WARS Revisited, Paris-based photographer and visual artist Laurent Pons takes beloved sci-fi icons and drops them into the heart of our everyday world.
Playing with scale, atmosphere and location, he photographs models and action figures. Ships like the Millennium Falcon, walkers like the AT-AT, and places them in real-life settings: streets of Paris, familiar landmarks, urban landscapes.

Nature fact of the day
Bananas are naturally radioactive. ☢️ 🍌
It sounds wild, but it’s true. Bananas contain potassium-40, a tiny radioactive isotope that occurs naturally in potassium.
You’d need to eat about 10 million bananas at once for it to make any difference, but the idea that your morning smoothie has trace radiation is one of nature’s little jokes.
