Monstera Deliciosa, otherwise known as the Swiss Cheese Plant, is a very popular houseplant. It grows well, it fits a modern aesthetic, and is pretty easy to care for.
What most of us weren’t aware of, however, is that the plant grows fruit that is supposedly wildly delicious, hence the scientific name. Some in tropical climates refer to it as fruit salad plant, for the flavor of the fruit, which apparently combines flavors of pineapple, banana, and strawberry.
