Tiny homes have become a popular option for those wanting to downsize, but also as ADU (additional dwelling units) and for secondary homes and rentals.

Cosmic is a new company with a vision for a stylish, high-end tiny homes that capture and store their own solar energy, and recycle water.

The Cosmic ONE is available in three sizes, from 395 square feet (37 square meters), to 595 square feet (55 square meters) or a two-bedroom unit spanning 750 square feet (70 square meters).

We love the overall aesthetic, which features a unique roofline with integrated solar, and an ample use of glass, wood, and aluminum.  Customizable in a range of colors and finishes, Cosmic’s design also integrates a gray water recycling unit, and a home battery storage unit, which powers the home at night, and can power an electric vehicle or other items in addition.

Once you decide on a size and color configuration, Cosmic handles the entire process, from permitting to delivery to construction, which they claim can take upwards of 7 months.

The prices of the finished, installed homes range from $279,000 for the studio size, to $419,000 for the two bedroom size.

The front deck features a welcoming feel, this version featuring larch wood in addition to orange-hued aluminum.

Inside, Cosmic’s design is clean and modern, using high end yet sustainable finishes.

Electric appliances, combined with robust insulation make for a very energy efficient operation.

We welcome more modern, thoughtful additions to the tiny (or not so tiny) home world, especially ones like the Cosmic ONE, which looks like a home run.
