There’s something about elderly dogs that brings a tear to our eyes, and a love for their slow-walking demeanor. As dog lovers who had a wonderful pet that developed mobility issues, we know how difficult it is to see dogs struggle to move. Whether its arthritis, a degenerative condition, or just an old, stiff frame, dogs deserve the same care and assistance as older humans do.

This cleverly designed assist named Steady is a mobility assistant that is non-motorized, and uses an adjustable harness system to take weight off of the dog’s back and legs.

The clean, pleasant design language is simple and straightforward, versus existing options, which are often complicated or non-adjustable.

A project by three students at Hongik University in Seoul, Steady seems like a great assistance device for dogs, and we hope it is developed into a real product soon.
