Argentinian duo Guardabosques (Juan and Caro) are turning paper into wildlife with style and cute points. Their papercraft animals are sharp, sculptural, and full of character.
Each creature starts as a digital 3D model, then gets sliced into flat pieces and folded into shape. The result is a low-poly menagerie that feels part sculpture, part origami, all charm.
Their cats have great comedic timing. The tiger looks ready to pounce. Even their capybara show the proper side-eye. The forms are clean, the colors bold, and the texture of the paper gives just enough warmth.
What makes these work is restraint. No fuss, just well-placed folds and clever design. They manage to say a lot with very little.
