What happens when numbers come to life? South African 3D illustrator Naydine Bosman decided to find out, turning digits into a colorful menagerie of geometric creatures.

Her series, Geometric Animal Numbers, transforms the numbers 1 through 10 into bold, blocky little characters bursting with charm.

Each number becomes its own mini-animal, part sculpture, part toy, part typography experiment. We like the cheeky side-eye that the animals are giving.

Bright colors and clean polygonal forms make them feel like something from a modernist children’s book or a futuristic classroom.

Originally created for window displays, the set manages to balance simplicity with personality. You could almost imagine them wandering off the shelf when no one’s watching.
