First introduced in 1948, Bvlgari’s Serpenti has long been a symbol of elegance and bold design.
For its second collaboration with MB&F, this famous watch has been transformed into an avant-garde wrist jewel with automotive-inspired aesthetics. Indeed, to us it resembles a highly ornate scarab beetle.
Encased beneath five sapphire crystals, the timepiece offers a mesmerizing view of its manually wound movement, featuring a unique 14mm flying balance wheel and four traditional regulating screws that hover above its domed hour and minute displays.
Measuring 39mm, the Serpenti reimagined is available in three ultra-limited editions (just 33 pieces each).
Blurring the lines between horology, jewelry, and high-performance engineering, this Serpenti is also extraordinarily expensive, so we’ll just have to admire from afar. Available for $148,000.
