Sculptor Brit Bunkley has a recent collection of beautifully colorful and irreverent pieces that we’re in love with. The artist takes recognizable animals, and renders them in bright, chunky color block form.
We see a dog in mid-stretch, a donkey in stride, a chimpanzee deep in thought. Their bodies are rendered in quilt-like color block that makes the forms feel fresh, new, and captivating.
