French designer Louis Le Joly Senoville wanted to be able to play chess anytime, anywhere. But how to carry around an entire chess set with you?

His concept design is for a full chess set, made from wearable materials. From laser cut chess pieces you can wear as rings, to a silk scarf that doubles as the board. To a custom wristwatch that comes apart to become dual chess timers.

The idea is funny and charming, more “can I do it?” than “I’d wear this everyday”. However, we applaud the ingenuity, and think the chunky, modern chess rings are actually quite cool looking.
