Cityscapes have become identifiers, calling cards, and symbols of those respective regions of the world.
Great cities usually have a handful of landmarks that help make them special and memorable. So what happens when you take those landmarks and give them a good shake?
You’re left with Hybrid Cities, a clever and fascinating project that combines two cities into one.
Created by Margarita Zhitnik of Russia and Duck Knees of Lithuania, the series is lighthearted but also exciting, imagining a mashup of iconic places, skyscrapers, climates and world powers.
It becomes more than a sum of it’s parts, creating a thought experiment that lingers, leaving us want to travel more. We’d love to see this series expanded, to even more corners of our beautiful globe. Via Behance:
