In a rare move, Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture is giving away plans for a beautifully minimalist, sustainable home—completely free.
Designed as a flexible, 1,700-square-foot retreat, the house features open, airy spaces, natural materials, and a seamless connection to the outdoors.
Helping victims of the LA Wildfire
Thousands of people affected by the Los Angeles wildfires are now in the process of cleanup and rebuilding.

The goal? To make high-quality architecture more accessible while inspiring thoughtful, sustainable living.
Whether used as a full-time home or a nature escape, these plans prove that great design doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag.

This house has a metal cladding (could be terne coated steel or other materials) on the sides and the roof, a material that cannot catch fire.
A portion of the house is clad in stone, also a noncombustible material. Also, the absence of roof eaves, as the roof folds and encases the house (hence the nickname for the project) is another detail that helps in fire resistance.
