These hilarious flip flops are inspired by zigzag-shaped paving found in Thailand.
Made to directly mimic the size, color, and texture of the pavers, the sandals are meant to be funny, but also to be worn. Created by design brand PDM, the company claims they’re a “unisex sandal designed to unify you with the sidewalk.” Literally, it seems.

We do like the cheeky nature of these, and the way they fit together perfectly when not worn.

It seems like we’re in the golden age of absurd, expressive footwear these days. Look no further than these ridiculous boulder shoes, for example.

Set to be released in Thailand this month, the sandals are made from 30% recycled ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA).
