In the world of typography, there really are very few rules. If something resembles a letter, or can be used to represent a letter, it can potentially be a typeface.
We’ve always loved the way type tell a story with its personality and character. This food alphabet by Brazilian designer Gabriel Pang is especially intriguing, with its realistic forms and tasty serifs.
Using a different food for each letter, Pang of Pang Brands shows us creativity and ingenuity in the letterforms, the choice of food, the lighting, and even the textures used.
It’s a fun and clever demonstration of technical skill, and also happens to make us very hungry. See more on Pang’s website.
